As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have a private therapy practice where I work with individuals as well as with couples. I have experience working within various clinical settings, including residential and outpatient treatment and recovery centers, university student counseling and private group practice.

I’m trained in evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness-based treatments, specifically aimed at reducing stress, anxiety and mental distortions. For couple’s therapy, I approach with interventions stemming from the Gottman method as well as Emotion-Focused Therapy for couples.

I enjoy working with a diverse mix of people, from all different backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles. I meet my clients exactly where they are, with the ongoing intention of discovering who they are, right along with them.

I am a creative soul who thrives in nature. I like to make and fix things with my hands. I love cooking with my family and sharing a meal with strangers. I enjoy discovering new music and clumsily learning a new instrument. I love a campfire, especially if it’s anywhere near the ocean.

I love what I do. I show up with compassion, presence, light-heartedness and humor. You will find me focused and attuned to you with full attention, curiosity and commitment to your greatest experience of well-being.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois.
