The practice of therapy is a chance to look deeper into who we are and how we are experiencing our very own lives, in order to see where there may be room for change and to help us find relief and freedom from what troubles us.
I’m Michael Salinas and I am happy to share my approach to therapy with you. Thank you for taking the time to explore.
My work with my clients is a partnership. My role is as a confidant and a guide. Together, we attempt to look at the big picture, the whole story of who the client is and what their life experience entails, from the mental, emotional, physical and social perspectives. Along with a trusting, therapeutic relationship, I utilize research-based interventions to address the needs of my client and to work towards finding clarity.
My clients engage in therapy with me to process and work through many kinds of challenges, including: anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, ADHD management, life transitions, career decisions, grief and trauma. It is possible to find relief, support and healing with issues that affect us, and it doesn’t have to happen alone.
I take pride in my ability to cultivate a non-judgmental, open space where every bit of you is welcome. Therapy with me is down-to-earth, genuine and authentic. I believe strongly in the process and value the experiences that I’ve had with my clients. I’ll hope you’ll reach out if you are ready or want to learn more.
Therapy sessions are $125 for a 50-minute appointment.
